Tuk Tuk’s App uses your camera to capture the scooter’s QR code in order to unlock the scooter.
Tuk Tuk uses your GPS location to help you find the Tuk Tuk scooter closest to your location.
California law requires anyone under 18 to wear a helmet when riding a scooter, skateboard or when using inline skates. Note that our Terms of Use policy prohibits riders under 18 years old. For more information regarding authorized riders, see our Terms of Use Policy here. For your safety, Tuk Tuk strongly recommends that all riders wear a proper helmet at all times during the ride.
Tuk Tuk recommends that you do just a “BIT”before you ride . . .
(1) ) apply the Brakes to make sure that they grab tightly;
(2) Inspect the scooter for cracks, dents, or other damage; and
(3); roll the scooter forward to make sure the Tires are not damaged, and that they spin freely.
If the scooter does not pass this BIT check, please notify us immediately on the App, so that
Tuk Tuk may repair the scooter.
When the trip ends, select "Ride History" from the app menu. Next, select past ride. This will allow you to review the start location, final location, and the trip's route. For a full account of your fare, touch the Receipt icon on the App.
If you believe that your trip fare is not accurate, please contact our customer support at:help@tuktukscooters.com for further help.
Contact us here if any of the following have occurred:
(1) trip started with a damaged scooter;
(2) the scooter is locked, but the trip is being charged;
(3) you cannot end the trip; or
(4) you forgot to lock the scooter.

For your own safety and that of others, you must follow all local traffic laws. That includes but is not limited to stopping at traffic lights, riding with the direction of traffic, putting your phone and other devices away when you ride, and adhering to speed limits.

If you are not injured, remain at the scene of the accident, safely way from motorist and pedestrian traffic. As soon as

If you have any problems with the scooter that make you or your trip unsafe, or otherwise interferes with the trip, please stop riding immediately. Please report the problem to customer serviceat : support@tuktukscooters.com.

Starting the scooter.
Use the Tuk Tuk app to scan the scooter’s QR code or enter the 5 digit number to unlock the ride. Next, kick start the Scooter for
a few feet, then press on the throttle near your right thumb to pick up speed (not too fast ). Squeeze the brake to slow down when needed.
Do not ride on sidewalks.

Rules and Conditions. To ride a Tuk Tuk, you must agree to our Terms of Service here. Included in that terms of Service are a few basic rules and conditions.
• Creating an account. Sign up for Tuk using your phone number. You will then receive a SMS with the verification code. Enter the verification code to finish signing up.
• Forgot Password - At Tuk Tuk’s login page, click “forgot password”. You will receive a text with the link to reset your password.
